National CAncer data Node DeveLopErs
Project is coordinated by Health-RI with 40 partners from 20 European countries. CANDLE will help Member States and Associated Countries establish National Cancer Data Nodes. These Nodes will provide standardized services for managing and sharing cancer data nationally and across borders. Europe generates vast cancer data, but fragmentation limits research and treatment progress. CANDLE will create trusted nodes that connect data, tools, and expertise, giving researchers broader access to European cancer datasets and advancing treatments, diagnostics, and patient information. The project will support harmonised, FAIR data practices, GDPR-compliant cross-border sharing, and contribute to the European Health Data Space and UNCAN.eu infrastructure.
