Identification and typing of nonfermenting gram-negative rods recovered from lungs of cystic fibrosis and chronic osbstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients

The thesis is focused on the developent of novel approaches to identification and typing of bacterial pathogens combining the technique of PCR and high-resolution melting analysis (HRMA) with the aim to translate the advances of economic and rapid molecular techniques into routine diagnostics in favor of best tailored antimicrobial therapy in chronic lung diseases.

Specialization: Neuroscience
Status: Graduated from 2015 to 2016.
